I find it ridiculously cool that Gearbox put Micheal Mamaril, a Borderlands fan who passed away from cancer at 22, in their game. People always talk about how if you write, you’ll never die, but in this case this guy will never die because he’s in a video game he loved, immortalized as a Vault Hunter. The eulogy that Claptrap/Claptrap’s voice actor read out made me cry. God I love these games. Plus, Micheal gives you some badass weapons.
